Empowered Parent Series: Election 2024: The "Higher Moral Ground"

"Polarized." "Echo-Chamber." "Deeply Divided." These are just a few terms used to describe the state of our nation as we approach the 2024 Presidential Election.  Abraham Lincoln once said, "A house divided cannot stand. " If one "side" or the other is so convinced that they occupy the "higher moral ground," where is the room for dialogue? How can we move beyond the divisions and dissonance? This workshop will explore the ways that utilizing the Ethical Decision-Making method, and taking an ethical approach to difference, can provide opportunities for a "house united" rather than a "house divided."

Tuesday,  October 22 from 8:30 - 9:30 a.m.
Mabie House, Commons Room
