Empowered Parent Series: Brave Girls, Healthy Connections: Navigating Friendships
Parents of all divisions are invited to this Empowered Parent Series on Tuesday, November 10, from 8:45 to 9:45 a.m., hosted by Dr. Karen Rezach, Director of The Ethics Institute, and Ms. Neisha Payne, Director of the Middle School, with guest speaker, Dr. Eva Lazar, Director of The Lazar Center in Teaneck, New Jersey, and former Program Coordinator of The Ethics Institute.
Dr. Lazar will provide parents with practical, easy-to-use guidance for supporting girls as they navigate friendships, friend groups, and cliques. We will discuss age-appropriate behavior, how to recognize healthy versus unhealthy friendship patterns, and ways parents can help their daughters build confidence, kindness, and resilience.
Through real-life examples and hands-on activities, parents will learn practical strategies to help respond to social challenges, encourage inclusion, and strengthen their daughters’ coping skills and self-esteem.
Tuesday, November 10, from 8:45 a.m. to 9:45 a.m.
