Lodestar Calls for Spring Submissions

Lodestar, the ethics journal put together by Kent Place students, is seeking submissions for its spring issue. The deadline is February 20.

Editors-in-Chief Claire Cherill ’26, Olivia Peters ’26, and Karanina Asuncion Hoang ’26 led the publication to a successful fall release. This spring issue will be different in that it will have a theme: “What do we owe each other?” Articles, art pieces, and case studies will explore what humans owe to family members, friends, or the environment; what doctors owe to patients; what businesses owe to consumers.

“We’re really excited about this theme,” says Anna Conti, Associate Director of the Ethics Institute, who oversees the journal’s production. “Its breadth and depth — especially since it’s written as a question — will invite interesting responses from Middle and Upper School students alike. I can’t wait to see what they’ll submit.”

The spring Lodestar will be available mid-May.
