Karen Rezach Featured on 60 Minutes
Dr. Rezach, the Director of the Ethics Institute was featured on 60 Minutes after participating on a panel in November alongside Francesca Mani, an anti-deepfake advocate and victim; Francesca’s mother, Dorota; and Viraj Doshi, a platform safety lead for Snapchat, to discuss ways schools can be proactive in creating AI policy.
The panel was part of the Empowering Voices Summit, which explored the ways schools should build policies to address deepfakes and for social media sites to educate their users about safe practices.
Francesca and her mother will be hosting a workshop at Kent Place on February 5 for students and their parents in Grades 5 through 8 to talk about digital safety and the ethical use of images online. To learn more about the event and to register, click here.
